About Capital's Phonathon Program

It's no secret that Capital is a school based on relationships — those special connections are the driving force behind our Cap Family! To keep those connections strong, a team of students makes outreach calls to Capital's alumni and friends throughout the year. While it's true the phonathon does support the university's fundraising efforts, there's more than one reason you could be receiving a call. Many times, the students will be reaching out to make sure you're aware of upcoming alumni events, to communicate information about class reunions, news from the university, or even just to make sure that your record is up to date in our database. No matter the reason, our student callers love to connect with other members of the Cap Family — so thank you for taking the time to talk, sharing your stories, and letting current students know why Capital is important to you.
