Homecoming Court Announcement - 5 p.m.

Homecoming Week kicks off with the announcement of the 2017 Homecoming Court. This year a committee will select Homecoming Court through a nomination, application, and interview process. Voting for Homecoming Royalty will open following the announcement and run through the week.

"Paint it Purple" and Parade Prep - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A social/spirit event with a focus on creating banners, signs, and other spirit items to be used for CapFest and the parade on Saturday or help make decorations for the Homecoming Court golf carts! There will also be a variety of fun, purple paint-related games. Event concludes with a Holi-esque celebration using only purple powder. (Paint and supplies will be provided.)

We've reimagined our annual Homecoming festival! Join us on Capital's front lawn as we host a celebration with food trucks, live music, inflatables, and other activities for the family. We're also starting a new tradition called "The Purple Power Parade" as the football team, Homecoming court, and student organizations march through campus to CapFest as we take Homecoming spirit to a whole new level.

Did you purchase a paver during the last year? The newly installed pavers will be dedicated at Noon.
