 Dr. Sally Stamper, Associate Professor of Religion, who will speak on the kinds of high impact practices that enhance Capital students’ learning in the humanities—courses that engage social and cultural experience from a scholarly perspective: English, history, philosophy, religion, modern languages and cultures, and political science. Dr. Stamper will discuss the ways that this aspect of a college education contributes to personal and professional satisfaction and supports formation of excellence in what Plato called “human beings and citizens” and how we can continue that pursuit throughout our lives.
