Join Dr. Kacie Vavrek, adjunct instructor of Health & Sports Sciences, as she explains the basics of nutrition. Nutrition is essential for health and well-being. Eating a healthy diet contributes to preventing future illness and improving quality and length of life. Despite being such an important topic there is often confusion and misinformation when it comes to nutrition.This presentation will review general healthy eating topics and trends in nutrition while helping to debunk common nutrition myths.
